Organized by Puzzle Bulgaria and sponsored by Educa, this first edition of the Puzzle championship of Sofia really was a big success, the competition took place during two days because of the number of teams wishing to play.
Day 1 - Saturday
18 teams of two people competed to assemble the 1000 pieces Puzzle by Educa "Spices". The team who obtained the 1st place finished the puzzle in 3 hours and 10 minute and won a 1500 pièces puzzle offered by Educa, followed by the second team, who ended in 3 hours 40mn and the 3rd team in 4 hours 40mn.
Day 2 - Sunday
14 teams had to deal with a 1000 pièces puzzle by Educa rather difficult, "Mickey's Nightmare", It took 7 hours 30 to the first team to finish the puzzle. The organizers decided to count the remaining parts of the other teams' puzzles in order to determine which teams would take 2nd and 3rd place. ********** By the end of these two days of competition, all teams went back home with a head full of good memories, the puzzle they had done, and quite itchy to participate in the next edition of the contest. |
